Competition Title: Cormack Innovation Award

The Cormack Innovation Award is regarded as one of the most practical industrial design awards in Australia. The competition criteria and judging is done by senior industry representatives working in FMCG, beverage, chemical cleaning and pharmaceutical companies, the same people that one day will be commissioning designs from these students in the commercial world.

The Awards are open to 3rd year Industrial Design Students currently studying in Australia.

As well as cash prizes, Cormack Packaging offers paid, project based work experience to the winning student, and the possibility of commercialisation of any design with industry interest. Finalists receive widespread publicity in local papers, industry publications and websites.

The awards culminate in the Presentation Night which is held in Sydney in October. The top 20 designs will be displayed and these students will have the opportunity to meet and discuss their designs with senior industry members, government representatives, past winners and other students.

Does the design identify an existing problem or opportunity for improvement based on either the environmental or economic climate, and is the submission a resolution to this issue in a modern and progressive manner?

Is there a clear need? Is there a clear benefit? Is it a genuine problem? Is it a realistic solution? Does it create a clear distinguished market advantage? Have new technologies been investigated and incorporated into the design?

Absolutely brilliant little plugin. We were selling a Zoom meeting and getting buyers to manually do a second step, the registration for the meeting after they had purchased the product. We talked about this workflow and thought it was inefficient and a hassle to the buyer to have to manually do the second step. Upon searching, we found Northern Beaches set of Wordpress plugins and the Woo > Zoom Meeting integration. Easily setup, easily understandable, and works right out of the box. Support from Martin the developer has been spectacular, clear and quick. If you need WooCommerce to sell your Zoom meetings (or webinars) and register the users upon purchase, this is the plugin for you. Can't say enough good things about it.Rob Cooper01/03/2022
