Our Bank Details Are Changing

Thank you for your continued business, I really appreciate it. I just wanted to let you know that due to the impending shutdown of Bankwest’s business banking services, our business bank account is going to move from Bankwest to the Commonwealth Bank, so therefore we have new bank account details. These updated details will show at the bottom of any invoices issued from now. If you have our details saved as a contact in your bank account, please update this now so you don’t forget. The new details are as follows:

1. How do I know that this update is legitimate?

Great question, I am glad you asked! I have created a blog post on our official website which you can view here. As I like to say to clients, always be cautious of clicking links in any email, so what you can also do is Google “Northern Beaches Websites”, click on the first result, and then in the search enter “Our Bank Details Are Changing” and you can see the same BSB and account number on that announcement. 2. I just paid an invoice just then with the old details, what will happen?

No worries, the old bank account is still active for a few weeks so I will redirect any payments in the background. If you have an outstanding invoice with us which has the old bank details on there, if possible try to pay into the new account details above, but if you forget, that’s ok, we’ll send you an additional reminder.

3. What if I pay into the old account in a few weeks time?

Firstly, don’t worry, what will happen is the money will bounce back to your account. If you don’t happen to see this, then you will likely get an overdue invoice reminder from us and here we will confirm the new bank account details.
