Twister Shelf Concept

Shelf, storage space and hanger concept for consumer use.

Product tries to resolve the problem of disorganization, whenever someone is leaving the house / apartment / flat. It is a centralized place for keepingessential things everyone needs when going out, such as mobile phone, wallet, keys and coat. Additionally, it can beused as a storage space for less commonly used items, such as handbags, scarves, neckties, gloves, hats, etc.

The design’s main point, from the manufacturing viewpoint, is the twisting shape. It is a single module, using mirrored module as well, made out of moulded wood. The design is partly inspired by an organic leaf shape. Modules main measurements are 283mm (long) by 89mm (wide) by 70mm (high).

The concept has a mounting on a matte aluminium sheet, though as a consumer product it might not be a viable solution.
