The Up Filer™ by Westerville Design

The Up Filer, a Universal Vertical Filing Rack, turns conventional file storage on its head with it’s innovative design for storing flat content — like drawings, documents, photos, magazines, art, you name it. By being wall-mounted it frees up valuable desk top work space. It allows the storage of files or other flat content that vary greatly in size, yet never allows one item to obscure another.

The UpFiler was the result of our own frustration as designers in finding a way to manage differently sized flat content. Our design allows for all job content to be stored in the same place. There is no longer the problem of putting some parts of a job in one place and larger pieces in another. Everything is now in the same place and it is ALL visible.

In addition to it’s function it has a modern industrial aesthetic. No more ugly flimsy plastic filing thingy. It is constructed of wood and chrome, there is also a renewable bamboo option.
